Evonik unveils TROGAMID® R transparent polyamide, made from recycled plastics, processed by Poliplastic SRL

The product, called TROGAMID® R, is processed by Poliplastic SRL, an innovative polymer recycler, which obtains scrap production-shards through a unique circular-economy partnership with manufacturers of high-quality optical non-prescription sunglass lenses. TROGAMID® R is created by recycling standard production scrap from eyewear manufacturers Nylo Zero® is the first designer eyewear brand offering models made from TROGAMID® R. Participation in supplying TROGAMID® R plastics circularity program now officially open to large volume, high-end lens and eyewear manufacturers
